Ecuador Program Director -Guayaquil, Ecuador

The Ecuador Program Director is the onsite supervisor and manager for the Rostro de Cristo Program in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Rostro de Cristo is a Catholic volunteer and mission immersion program located on the peripheries of Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city. We invite young people from the United States to a transformational faith experience; to a life of solidarity with others, especially the excluded and marginalized; and to respond to God’s call to love, mercy and justice.
There are two program components:

I. Volunteer Program: each year we invite 13-15 young adults to a life committed to spirituality, intentional community, service, simplicity and hospitality. They live and serve in two communities on the outskirts of Guayaquil.
II. Immersion Retreat Program: Each year approximately 25 groups of high school and college students, and an occasional adult group, spend a week hosted by our volunteers and their neighbors, learning about their lives, building relationship, and praying and reflecting on the “face of Christ” in their experience.
